Boston Seaport Family Portraits
As a family photographer, I have the unique opportunity to capture a moment in time for my clients. It’s nice, even for me to look back on those moments. That was the case with this family. On a fall morning, met up with this sweet family in the Boston Seaport District to make portraits with Chad, Michelle, their beautiful daughter, Nala and their sporty pup, Chechy. I love family portrait sessions, and this family brought so much magic to this family photo shoot. I’m so glad we got to capture it all on camera so they hold onto this for years to come!
Chad + Michelle’s Boston Seaport Family Portrait Session
Chad, Michelle and their family absolutely love a good day out on the town, seeing and experiencing all the city has to offer, so we did just that! They all make up such a beautiful family, and you can really tell how close and tight-knit they are through the photographs we took.
Nala is an adventurous little explorer and has such a vibrant imagination. It was so fun getting to see the world through her eyes. She loves having little conversations with everything in the world around her, from the ladybug on the sidewalk to her awesome dog, Chechy. And Chad and Michelle have such a beautiful way of encouraging Nala’s exploration and imagination. They like to ask her questions and engage in her imaginative stories during play time. For instance, when Nala was on the jungle gym, she turned it into a plane! Her parents hopped on board and Nala took over as the pilot, with Chad and Michelle as her passengers. She even guided everyone down to a safe landing!
Chechy, their dog, is a loyal and trusted companion for the family. He was on the lookout the whole time! But, he also brought that calming canine energy to the shoot. During the photo shoot, he was either chasing Nala or resting a bit while she played, keeping that ever-protective eye on her.
It brings me immense joy knowing that this lovely family will be able to hang on to these pictures forever. I hope Nala never runs out of her curiosity and joy, but most of all, I hope this family never runs out of that special little thing that makes them them. They are truly wonderful people and I wish them nothing but the best!
