Sara’s Spark Session

As you know, I’ve been doing Spark Sessions for women as my most recent project, giving women ways to shine and feel beautiful. This session was for Sara, who truly lives her life as a testament to inner and outer beauty.

I’m glad that I was able to capture Sara’s positivity—something she brings to so many people each and every day. If Sara’s spark ever dulls, she can look through her collection of matted fine art prints and wall art and be reminded of the strong, beautiful person she truly is.

But rather than tell you about it secondhand, let me share her own words and her own exuberance in her Spark experience:

Wow, just WOW is how I would describe my Spark experience. From our first phone call, Lindsay was fully engaged. She learned about me, listened to what I wanted, and was an absolute ray of sunshine.

The morning of the shoot, I was nervous because I actually don’t like having my picture taken at all! Lindsay and her make-up artist, Michelle, instantly put me at ease with hugs and laughs, and it sure was fun to be pampered.

When the session began, I had NO idea what I was doing. I was so thankful for Lindsay’s energy and her guidance through each pose. While I know I didn’t look like it, she made me feel like a Victoria’s Secret model and an absolute bombshell! A confidence I did not know I could have in front of a camera.

Afterwards, she turned my living room into a movie premiere, complete with my name and a personalized message on-screen. She played a slideshow of images that perfectly captured everything I described. It was both strange and exhilarating to see myself so raw.

Having my own collection of Spark photographs means the world to me. It was so far out of my comfort zone, yet every time I look at them, I feel like a total BADASS. My artwork will serve as a reminder of this for years to come. To anyone considering the Spark experience, my advice is to just DO IT. Do it for you, because all women deserve to feel this good in their own skin.
