Venice Beach

I remember the class where Meena and I met in High School. Newspapers were laid out as our class discussed which images spoke to them and why. We were all seated on stools around Photo Department table tucked away next to the sink where we mixed chemicals to develop our black and white Tri-X film. I remember looking up and seeing this kind, beautiful girl who had just moved from San Francisco to Weston, Massachusetts. Fast forward past countless sleepovers, and cross country trips to stay in touch during college, and her residency in Long Beach California, and we’re here. In Venice Beach, celebrating her bachelorette party before her wedding this June. A whirlwind of friendship trivia, the most delicious meal at Plant Food + Wine, sunrise swims, goofing off at the Ace Hotel LA , and a weekend spent with new and old friends.
